I have a tray of coins from the Mildenhall of 1833. There were 1,286 coins from the 3rd century. One was a denarius of Caracalla and the rest were antoniniani from Valerian to Aurelian. Most of the coins are in fairly rough condition, because when they were discovered they were a "badly rusted mass of coins"

The 260s were indeed the decade of Postumus, but they were also the decade of Gallienus, who has an amazingly diverse variety of reverses to his name, including the "Zoo Series." I have a Postumus to post later.

It is here that I start to see a change in composition of my own coins: from mostly AR in the 240s, to low grade AR/billon in the 250s, and into more AE's and silvered AE's by the 260s.

I can't find photos of my 2nd Antioch Gallienus for some reason (a Mars reverse)

Gallienus. ca. 262-265 AD.
AE Antoninianus. 20.0mm, 2.9g
Rome. RIC V.1 185

Obv: GALLIENVS AVG
Radiate bust right

Rev: FELICI AET

Gallienus, ca. 267 AD. Sole reign.
Silvered AE Antoninianus. 20.8mm, 3.7g
Antioch. RIC V Antioch 609

Diana Lucifera (I have one to post later on) was now Luna Lucifera

Obv: GALLIENVS AVG
Radiate & cuirassed bust right

Rev: LVNA LVCIF

This one is in the name of Postumus but is actually minted by Aureolus, a rebel general in Milan who possibly saw this as a way to gain Postumus's support in fighting emperor Gallienus. That plan failed and Aureolus was killed later in 268.

268 CE, antoninianus, Aureolus, RIC V Postumus 381.
IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG / PAX EQVITVM, Mediolanum (Milan).

Great coins today all! Here are a couple of Gallienus Antoniniani minted at Rome. The first one, with the SECVRIT PERPET reverse, was minted in 260 to 268 AD. The second one, with the ABUNDANTIA reverse, was minted in 265 to 267 AD.

Cornelia Salonina - wife of Gallienus - was named Augusta in 253 when her husband and Valerian became co-Augusti; a title which she would maintain for 15 years thereafter.

It wasn't a happy and glorious time, of course. Valerian was dead by 260, and her husband spent the rest of his time putting down various insurrections from within the Empire whilst dealing with invasions by the Goths, Sasanians and Sarmatians along with the various Germanic tribes; and doing all of this as his own military officers and councillors schemed against him (after all, it had to be someone's fault, and Roman political/military theory by then was along the lines of 'if we're winning, we demand more tributes; if we're losing, just kill the Emperor.')

Salonina. ca. 256-257
Joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus.
AR Antoninianus. 21mm.
Rome. RIC V.1 Salonina 71

Obv: CORN SALONINA AVG
Draped and diademed bust right on crescent.

Rev: VESTA AE-TERNA
Vesta, draped and standing left, holding Victory in right hand and scepter in left hand.

Here is a Tet from Phillip I in Alexandria. The rev inscription states that it is from year 5, which corresponds to 247 or 248 AD:
