Not a Roman coin, but I'm glad to be able to contribute today with this drachm of the Western Satraps which I believe dates to 289 AD.

Here is a Denarius from Gallienus that has been stripped of its silvering. It is a pretty ugly color, although much of the detail remains. With Abundantia on the rev, I have it attributed as Vagi 2323 and RIC V-2 #157. It dates to 260-268 AD.

Superb coins !! Paralyse : your RIC number is correct , Wildwinds is wrong in the obverse legend . Spence : it is an antoninianus , see the radiate crown , but the colour is very exceptional . for Gallienus : http://gallienus.net/Volusianus : 251-253 AR antoninianus obv:IMP CAE C VIB VOLUSIANO AUG : radiate, cuirassed bust with paludamentum . The legend is ,exceptionally,in the dative. rev : PAX AUGG: Pax standing left with scepter and branch . 20 mm , 2.8 gr , 12 h Ric 179 , Mint : Rome Salonina , wife of Gallienus : 258-268 . AR antoninianus obv : SALONINA AUG : draped, diademed bust on crescent : the crescent is indicating the value antoninianus as the radiate crown on the coins of the emperor . rev : FECUNDITAS AUG , in right field :Δ :Fecunditas standing left holding infant, a young child at her feet left . 19 mm , 3.3 gr ,6 h RIC57 , Mint : Milan , struck 257-258 .albert
