I went and picked up some pennies from the only bank in my area that will still give them to me (I love that RBC branch), and when I went looking through the rolls, these two 2012 pennies caught my eye. They look like of centre strike errors. The one on the left is more pronounced.

Value? Confirmation of the error? Rarity? Any expert (or amateur) knowledge is helpful!

There might be a slight mis-alignment (of either the planchet or the dies), but to any error collector, it is not enough. Worth about the same as any other 2012 cent.

Kind of interesting that the non magnetic zinc one on the left has much bigger edge area compared to the steel one on the right. I've noticed that on almost all.

I agree the off centre isn't enough.

I believe that it's because the zinc is softer than the steel.
