I'm noticing he saved A LOT of bicentennial stuff also, like rolls of IKEs, halves and quarters.

There's only 2 things you don't want while sorting through that hoard.
1. Telephone ringing.
2. An adopted long lost adult stepchild who likes gambling.

Great opportunity to help your friend realize the top money for the collection if she decides to sell. I did the same for a friend with proof sets from 80's to early 2000's when I told them the retail, wholesale, and auction potential they became leery. I was going to buy them in a lot as what the heck they were all there and there was some 68's and above. I offered 75% book and they turned me down. No problem, I lost contact for a couple years and found out they were sold to a pawnshop for slightly above face. Tricky stuff these collections, they can get thorny with family involved. But I would run the risk of the doing it again if I could sort through a hoard like yours. Bet the gentleman who amassed these enjoyed them as much as we do. What a cache!

Of course, AFTER I saved the picture of the Morgans to my comp I find more of them, but I'll make a list of the dates. These appear to have been just saved as investment silver instead of any particular year or grade.

Went to look in this box and at first could not remember why it was so heavy.
Huge-Collection-I've-Been-Asked-To-Sort-Through

On the left side is 24 rolls of various Kennedy halves. On the right side are 8 rolls of IKEs, and in the middle were 2 rolls of SBAs. As I look through them I am not seeing anything particularly special other than some of the rolls being 1976. One thing I fins interesting is that some of the rolls are bank stamped with dates from the 70s.

Possibly no problem but I have always stayed away from things like this. The reason is in many instances, some people always suspect you of walking away with anything of value. I've had friends hand me jars or cans of coins and ask me to check them out. As usual they are almost always just modern, up to date coins of no numismatic value. But then I hear are you sure you didn't find anything of value? Makes me wonder what they are really saying to others. I find it difficult to pass on such situations but unless you really, really know the person your doing this for, might not be worth the end results.
