Certainly appears uncirculated, but I too find the color off-putting.

I don't like to be too critical but the toning is really ugly.

I just got this in and took some pictures. It is still in it's original 2x2 holder in the pictures and some of the lines are from that. (I know my pictures are bad, still trying to learn how to take better ones!)

I've been looking forward to seeing the in-hand photos of this one.
I think it looks way better in your pics. The question now is, who's pic are more representative of how it looks in hand. I am leaning towards yours.

MikeF, bought it on ebay. What do you grade it with the new pictures? The small circles on the reverse near the mm are dings.

I still think it's an ms problem-free coin. The soft spots on the reverse are typical strike issues. Again, Ms-64 here. If it has problems, I don't see them. Are you going to send it in for grading?

No comment on the grade but looking at the coins this seller has for sale raises all kinds of red flags
for me. Why would he sell this coin at a fraction of what it would be worth if it was graded by PCGS/NGC?
This M.O. fits his other offerings as well

Everest, I am not sure I follow with what you are saying? I looked at his other auctions and they all seemed to be priced about right(pretty fair prices). I saw that the seller is an established seller and has very good ratings. He also has a 30 day return policy so I made an offer and he accepted. It looks like he specializes in jewelry and maybe he was unsure of the value of the coin? As a buyer how could I go wrong?

Why would the seller advertise this coin for $325 and accept your best buy offer if the coin coin did
not have issues? If the coin is truly AU/UNC PQ as he states why didn't he send it to PCGS/NGC for
$30 and get the coin slabbed and increase its value tremendously? Its a problem coin IMO. If you like
the coin and the price by all means keep it but I do not think it is as advertised.

Must admit the whole thing doesn't really make sense. The only thing I'm sure of is that I don't care for the color.

I dislike that color. It really doesn't make any sense why the coin isn't in a PCGS/NGC slab.
