peaece13 Valued Member United States 246 Posts	Posted 03/30/2018 3:33 pm My lowest circulation piece off the top of my head is my avatar 1802 Heraldic Eagle at 41,650 As for Proofs I have 10 of the 14 coins that make up the proof offerings for 1873. 1c5d7n5m Pillar of the Community Belgium 1185 Posts	Posted 04/01/2018 3:58 pm absolute numbers are relatively meaningless: what matters is the ratio between the number of surviving pieces of a particular coin and the number of potentially interested collectors in that type for areas of numismatics with 100,000 serious collectors any mint number below 100000 is making the coin rare the collectors dream : 1) find a numismatic niche which is still quiet and nice 2) purchase at reasonable prices 3) make the niche popular for a larger crowd of collectors by a book or via CCF 4) start selling Report this Post to the Staff
