Is there a coin for tomorrow, 3/31? or are we taking the day off?

3/31 is not listed in the original list on page 1. IMHO it's best just to take the day off and then continue with the Library of Congress on 4/1 as indicated, rather than try and move everything up a day.

What does anyone else think?

Coronet1832, it's really your thread. What do you want to do?

In my opinion, we should take the day off tomorrow, and resume on 4/1.

My contribution to Lexington-Concord day. As usual for my few CSC coins, it's raw and not TPG graded ...

Oops - my bad!

I vote for tomorrow being a day for folks to post any items they missed and a day off for the rest of us.

Appreciate seeing the Lexingtons, although for me, this design doesn't hold a candle to some of the other fantastic coins that have been posted.

It was the summer of 2012 and a friend of my mother's asked me to look at some coins she inherited from her father. She had many gold pieces and this one commem in the original box. I offered what I thought was a strong bid for her collection including $150.00 for this piece. It wasn't till 1.5 years later she said she'd sell me this coin. I figured it was MS-63 or 64 but the box was perfect. She gave the coin and box to my mother and when I saw she put her initials on the back of the box and my heart sank. Oh well. Still a nice piece of history!

I would also vote for a day off.

Nice Lex and I love the box. I'd almost be tempted to glue gone those initials.

A fantastic group of coins. From the beautiful designs presented I would think modern commemorative would be collected by the multitude. Perhaps most don't simply because they've never been exposed to them. Hopefully this thread will produce a few converts (like ME).
