This coin is in terrible condition, and is much easier to see in hand, but here is a coin with a marten on it:  That is a 1 denár piece from Slavonia, which was made from 1280 to 1282. A lot of the coins from Slavonia had martens on them, but aside from theirs and some modern Croatian ones, I do not think this species has been depicted that often on coins.
