I recently bought this coin and thought there must a fruit thread somewhere to post, but there doesn't seem to have been one started. So here it is now. Post your coins, medals etc that show any fruit. 1961 Katanga 5 francs with a bunch of bananas   |

Seems like a good idea to me @trig! Thx for starting this thread. This Trifollaro was minted in the Italian City State of Sicily between 1166 and 1189 AD. It was struck at Messina and features a 3/4 lion profile plus a palm/date tree with about 10 pieces of fruit. I have attributed it as Biaggi 1231.   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Trying to find coins in my collection with fruit. So far the only one I have seen is this Trajan dupondius with a Cornucopia on the reverse, which might not really count. I'll have to keep looking! Cornucopia would normally contain fruit, so seems OK to me.
