Ariette Valued Member United States 295 Posts	Posted 02/22/2018 8:50 pm That's a tough one. The surfaces look a bit rough, even sort of like wrinkly skin in a few spots. But the planchet quality on a lot of these early coppers was pretty spotty, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the funky stuff I'm seeing was already there when it came out of the mint. I'm going to go with straight graded, considering how the grading services tend to be more lenient with early coppers (as the first one I posted can attest to). Report this Post to the Staff

Remember that halos around the devices are not always indicative of a cleaning.
