Help With 1970 (Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC ) S Small Date Variety

Titles are Important! * I found 9 1970 S pennies, in a box today. I know for a fact that 5 of them are the large date variety but I can quite place these ones? Im kinda certain that they are the small date ones, but finding 4 1970 S small dates all in the same box is almost unheard of, so I have my doubts. spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 02/21/2018 12:35 am with that The easiest way for me to tell the difference is to draw a line from the bottom of the 1 to the bottom of the 7. If that line also hits the bottom of the 0, it's a Small Date. If that line extends below the 0, it's a Large Date. Basically, if the bottoms of the 1, 7 and 0 line up, it's SD.
