hello all, could not find no info for this year, could be a RPM or a MD with the top of edge damaged make me think it was struck twice and it being flatten to cause this. thoughts please thanks

Has to be MD as the date was part of the master dies after 1992 (?) If I'm wrong then please others chime in!!

Mark, for the Lincoln cents, they stopped punching the mint marks by hand in 1985 for proof coins and 1990 for business strikes I think. To get back on point, this looks like Machine Doubling on the mint mark.
