You will notice from the link provided by RG that the set also includes two other circulating dollar silver proofs, namely the "Decade Dollar" and the "Waltzing Matilda Dollar".

Bit of trivia here, one of the silver roo coins was "tossed" by "little Johnny" to kick off a charity international cricket match for the Tsunami Appeal. The coin was then auctioned off on ebay by Australian Criket Board. Proceeds going towards the appeal. It was mind boggling following the auction, bids were going above AUD$200K...yes AUD$200K.As it turned out,all of the top bids were bogus bids. Must have set some sort of an ebay record when 26 bogus bidders/jokers were NARUed in this one single auction.

There was a thread in the Aussie Forum in this particular auction/appeal but as OP and MOD, I deleted the entire thread due to unsavory comments and vitrolic attacks/comments posted which was racist in nature and was based on religion, culture and politics.

Great news this morning as my 2006 silver Kangaroo found its way to my home! Another great addition to my Roo collection! Also received the two Liberia 2005 silver commemoratives I ordered. They are commemorating the Titanic Expediton of 2000 when items where recovered from the wreck site and each coin has a piece of coal recovered from the ocean floor embedded into the bow of the ship on the coin. Really a unique offering as the coin is oblong, only 5,000 minted in silver and an actual piece of that history has been recovered and placed into the coin itself! These are definitely "keepers" in my book. Just holding those coins and knowing the Titanic story and to actually see a small piece of that history right before my eyes is really something!!!

I am sorry for the typo PNC King as the Liberian Titanic Expedition Commemoratives are 2005 and just released a few months ago! Sometimes my mind, eyes and fingers don't work real well together!!! They are brand new 2005 and I just received them this morning from Downies and I am so impressed I may see if any more are available. The coins are oblong and quite unique! I just got my hands on a digital camera so I will try and post a photo and if I can't get it done I will try to forward one to Susan for posting!
