au53. toning looks weird in the obverse. the stars in the left of the coin show white halos. the stars on the right have dark edge toning, some with halos. my cleaning antennae are up.

AU53, cleaned a long time ago and retoned?

Saw something similar at Long Beach Coin Show a few days ago with details grade.

Over exposed lighting is killing the surface of that coin, probably an attempt to bring out faint color in the toning. Beautiful coin the should be in a MS holder. I'd believe anything from 62-64 but would be a wild guess for me since I can't actually see what the coin really looks like with those over lit pics killing the surface appearance
