1881 Morgan Silver Dollar Not Sure About Grade

(By the way, anyone confused by the first image, it's just that the image appears to be a mirror image. I see some wear on the hairlines over the ear, with some blending of the strands. On the reverse, the chest feathers are worn smooth, it appears, but that may be lighting. Do offset your light to a side and diffuse the light, such as with a piece of a milk jug or a thin cloth suspended between the light and the coin. I'm going to say, right now, from the photos, it's an AU 58. Some may say MS 60, but we do need better photos. You're getting better, though! Report this Post to the Staff
