Quote: electric cake sprinkles Not sure I have heard that one before. Is this in reference to the enhanced uncirculated coins from last year?

Great, another gimmick albeit a previously used one - it has become a pain maintaining my albums as I have done since 1962 ... reverse, enhanced, silver, clad, business strike (don't forget S-quarters) etc. ad infinitum.

...and I bet minted to demand. So it's a "buy one for the collection" issue. Saves money....

Received the email today from the US mint. As previously mentioned it will be $54.95. If not mistaken, will contain the same coins and packaging as last years 225th anniversary EU set with the exception of the reverse proof finish and about twice as much. Household limit of 10 for first 24 hours and max mintage of 200,000. Anyone think it'll sell out in the first 24 hours?

I think that may be about 50k too many. Mintages for the regular silver proof set took a nosedive in recent years: Year Ending Sales / Mintage (not including LE set & silver quarters) 2017 333,547 2016 369,849 2015 387,460 2014 404,665 2013 419,720 2012 395,443 2011 574,175 2010 585,401 2009 697,365 2008 763,887 Well, we shall see...

My initial thought is it'll follow the EU set. 200k has just proven to consistently be to high for a winner in the last few years
