Saw this set for sale on a coin show last night. Despite the channel not being in HD the set looked really nice. Can't wait to have in hand.

Very nice, Darth! Mine is on the way to the post office as of 2:46 PM today. It is a 90 minute drive, so I assume the PO has them now and will be in my hands tomorrow.

I received mine today, and just like Darth Morgan, I'm impressed. However, I ordered 2, and only received 1. This was a first for me. I called right away (9 PM), and they took all the info. They have to send out a form for me to fill out, so by the time I get it back to them, they might be sold out. The box opened really easy, so it might have been opened in transit. We shall see!

mfhorn sorry to hear about missing set! Years ago, two US Mint orders went completely missing in the mail. Like you, they sent me a form to sign each time testifying under penalty of law that I did not receive them. After speaking with my mail carrier about it, he confided in me that a worker at my local post office had recently been arrested for theft. Mint made good in both situations, but these weren't limited edition sets, so your situation creates more angst for sure. Then there's the time The Mint accidentally doubled my order. Knowing I would hear from them sooner or later, I waited until the oops! letter arrived to return the undeserved set. iirc it took them a couple of months to figure it out. THIS JUST IN: Package just arrived, two days earlier than FedEx predicted! Quote: The box opened really easy It did seem a LITTLE easier to open than usual but still ripped new paper layers from the cardboard. Of course I was looking for tampering because of your post. Sets look great except for some apparent rim damage on both pennies (I got two sets). That, or the case is distorting the image. Dings appear on opposite sides of the obverse.

My set is supposed to arrive Monday hopefully no damage or tampering with mine! It seems the US Mint needs to have better quality control, with the money we spend there should not be any dings or damage on the coins!!

Got my set today! The coins look great and I do not see any problems with them. Quote: Sets look great except for some apparent rim damage on both pennies (I got two sets). That, or the case is distorting the image. Dings appear on opposite sides of the obverse. I looked at mine really close with a loupe. The plastic does have some marks there, but the cent rim is unaffected. I think it is probably from the automation equipment loading the coins in the lens.

I ordered three sets, made extra money working overtime. It's the equivalent to going to Citifield twice to watch the Mets lose! Thinking wishful, copper one cent Lincolns instead of the zinc would be an added bonus to the mint sets, but I guess the US Mint is not concerned about their customers.

Wouldn't this require congressional legislation because it would be a change in metal composition? There are only so many things the Mint has real control over.
