While looking through a roll of Barber quarters I came across this. It is very worn and would only make AG but if it is an S I think it would be worth having slabbed. The pictures not perfect but what do you think?

That up to you but if its an Die Variety I would if you plan on selling or just passing down I would.

I doubt this coin has a mintmark. The mintmark on Barber quarters and halves is well-protected by the adjacent design elements. It is usually obviously present even when the coin is even more worn than yours.

Of course, if you do have a 1901-S quarter it is well worth having it slabbed, in any condition.

Save your money.
The two known die varieties of this date both have (with minor positional diffrences) the mont mark between the R (of Quarter) and the D (of Dollar).

It could not be an S.

But, keep looking, ya never know.

Just sell it on ebay, someone's bound to pay a huge premium for it.

It goes hand-in-hand with that ~$900k SLQ.
