Hi. I've never seen something like this before and wondered if others with more experience may have.
Is the missing metal around the eye PMD or some kind of error? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Looks like extreme die polishing to me. I don't see any signs of damage, which would be the other option.

It's either a Greaser or excessive die polishing. Not post mint damage.
