Welcome "friedsquid!" I think your stats illustrate nicely just how close the 3 & 4 digit radars are in terms of difficulty finding one. Great to see you share your expertise here.

I agree, and have found this to be the case more for the older series (pre-Journey) & mostly depending on the eye appeal of the said radar (not all number/number combinations are equal). The book (Charlton) does not take into account low (or high) # radars such as: 0072700 9978799 and has just recently caught up with the repeater/radars that many find appealing.I have personally found that 3 digit radars may go for a few dollars more.
