Hello. This one is a 1964 Penny my dad marked collar flaw. The flaw is on the back of the neck (looks like an elongated hook). Please comment. Veronica
I don't think the error on this one is what you've shown. Your Dad seems to have known what he was about, so I think you should look at the rim & see if you can spot any thing wrong.
When a coin is minted, the blank planchet sits inside a circular 'collar', so if it has a 'collar' flaw, it should be something around the edge or rim of the coin.
The extra metal or ' Cud' on the Queen's neck might be an added bonus.
