In my Australian Pre-Decimal Coin Varieties book, this one is listed a s Very Scarce, so it could be worth a fair bit.

Sadly, no values given in the book.

I like that one--it's such a round mark; it's almost like a tool left an impression on the die.
Nancy, this sure sounds like another book I need!

I have 2 recorded sales in my auction end files for this type. Both are 1964y Perth coins, and both were described as Very scarce Blob on Kings neck variety.
Funny thing is the differences in the prices paid, 1 sold for $14.95, the other for $3.95 and both were in EF grade.
Yours looks to be in pretty well circulated condition Dolly, so if you were to sell, I'd estimate between $2.00 and $5.00, with all the value being in the variety itself.
