Picked up these two albums today ($5.00 for both)
The album starts at Edward VII

I really liked the idea of putting this type set together.
even though it came with most of the coins. I hope I can
update some of the coins in the future.

I think the problem will be the last page, I have not seen
many Maundy sets. Someone places a 3 pence coin in one of
the holes, but I don't think it belongs there.

Now I need to look through my collection to see if I can find
some coins for the empty holes ... I did find a George VI
3 pence, after I took pictures.

Any opinions welcome.

Good buy.

Those Whitman Albums fetch really good prices often $40-$100 each.

Good luck with the Maundy sets. I've picked up a few odd coins but never complete sets. Prices for sets are usually very high.

Never seen one of those before - looks great!

There seem to be nice lustrous Edward VII and George V halfpennies.

I would be able to fill more than half of the holes, if I extracted them from My World collection. Have both sets of Maundy, but in mixed dates.

With Australian coinage that covers this period that is reasonably in alignment to British coinage, it is fairly easy to fill all of the holes in these albums in EF condition. I haven't been tempted to do this, because my focus is more on World coinage generally.

Picked up a nice strictly uncirculated 1902 penny of Edward V11 only yesterday for $5. Quite happy with this acquisition.
This type (not my coin), saw official circulation in Australia.

Thanks for the replies.

I am wishing Whitman had included the coins for for Queen Victoria,
except for the Maundy sets.
