Over the past two months I've been able to pick up some nice Victoria "Old Head" silver coins. This is my favorite design on British Coins.

I already had full red examples of the farthing, half penny and penny, as well as mint state three and four pence coins. I picked up the nicely toned half crown, shilling and six pence from the same seller. The AU florin came from another dealer.

The crown and gold coins are still out of reach for my pocket book, but I do hope to add them sometime and complete my set.

Thanks for giving me a place to share my coins with others.

Very nice, Paul. The Veiled Head crowns are reasonably cheap in Fine over here, but the prices really rocket in higher grades.

The double florin was known as barmaids ruin as it was often mistaken for a crown.

Not just barmaids; one was sold to me as a crown in the 1980s.

The Double Florin was a short run for only 4 years, 1887 to 1890 and only had the Jubilee Head. It had been discontinued when the "Old Head" was coined.

That's certainly a beautiful set of coins! I have a few "Old Head" coins as well, but I hope to upgrade them to that condition in the future.
