Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 75383 Posts	Posted 03/17/2018 7:41 pm It was caused by an Over Polished Die from trying to get rid of a Die Clash. This is what happens, the letters get thin, since they're using abrasives on the die face (very rough on the dies). Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/17/2018 7:44 pm Very Strong die polish. It removed the fields so much that the letters are now thinner as the deeper the devices are in the die, the thinner the device becomes. The devices are tapered so the coin doesn't still to the die.
