I was looking for a penny to see if I had a proof struck coin of not. I found this one, dont know if its proof, but it seemed odd under 5x mag. So I took pic and saw what appears to be a smaller 7 under the bigger one along with more doubling. I'm confused. What do you think? Thanks!

A 74 proof would have an S mint mark. Not sure what's going on with the 7.

There were large and small dates on all three mints of the 1974 cents.

Yours is a large date.
