I think that Americans tend to grade their gold more conservatively than the silver or bronze.
I find the BLP designs (which I really like), difficult to grade, so I stand to be corrected.

Minor wear on the bonnet and shoulder feathers of the eagle.

AU50.

No worse than AU-58, could well be MS. Tell us about the luster.

The luster is good as shown in the face of Chief Hollow Horn Bear. I had a hard time getting the photos to show luster and strong details at the same time. The photos make the coin looks like a copper gold, but the coin is more yellow.

I think its at least Au-58, no less. Id say MS-61 as my official guess. So I agree with Shotgung.

EF for me. Feathers bother me to much, details aren't there for me.
Rest in Peace

Looks in the 55 range. Certainly shows circulation rub.

GRADE POSTED: AU58

The coin is correctly graded at AU58 by PCGS as there is circulation rub. The coin does have MS luster and in hand because of luster looks like a 61 or 62.

Mint luster not obvious in pictures.
This is an advantage that TPGraders have over us.
