Sometimes posting here gives me a good laugh. A Rolex and this coin fall into the same category as luxury items?
A $130 1oz silver coin is hardly a luxury item. But to each his own. Waste money on whatever you like

Although I am completely dumb founded on why this coin suddenly became popular, so be it and some people are willing to pay close to insane prices for it. This is cool, the original buyers are reaping the rewards on this one great for them, there is a perfect storm for flippers, split mintage, many years since a hyped up topic, weird topic itself, and the miss belief that if the RCM cranks a coin it's a official government acknowledgement of UFO. You will know how strong this coin will preform after Canada Post gets their second allotment and rightly so flood the resale market.
Rest in Peace

With the 25th anniversary of the first X-file, I think this coin is appropriate - though credit where credit is due, they should have mentioned it on the coins along with the UFO.

Buying this coin as an long term investment, (especially several times over issues price,) with or without an X-Files connection is probably not a great idea. There, now..... The truth is out there.

@Silveroid...

I have a complete set of the original Pixar Diecast from Mack to Mater. All still in original packaging... They have never been to space though.

It sits beside my Star Wars and NASA Lego sets.

So, as I said, the condition is "played with" (I stored away some other gems from the franchise un-opened), but as per Toy Story, the toys do want to be payed with

Now, from the Universe of my kid's child-room:

These are the main from the "Astronaut Mater"
*The Mater
*Astronaut McQueen
*Impala

Falcon-Lake-UFO--Silver-Coin

And this is the UFO (Matron) from Unidentified Flying Mater
[the Mater is deep in the bin]

Falcon-Lake-UFO--Silver-Coin

The question "Were they really in the space?" or "Did really meet the UFO?" - this is questionable and for viewer to decide.
Similar about all UFO stuff in real world.

If MWario is such a eBay-seller saint with low prices then why is he shill bidding up prices on UFO auctions with his feedback #'s: 113 & 2314
And.. he just bought one at $560, must be low on stock in MWarioland!
He coulda had a nother one for $50 cheaper on an auction ending 5 min later but did not bid; guess he only has one buyer complaining June 4 shipping was not stressed in his listing!
Woohoo, MWario just won another auction from monnaiecanada!

I think he just sells the coin as well as other coins for the current market price.
For example, the "Baloon coin" offered for CAD 119.95 with Best Offer, giving opportunity to collectors, who missed it, to get the coin for fair price.
And without undercutting other sellers, only adjusting his price to be same or dollar less.

How is adjusting his price to be a dollar less not undercutting other sellers?
What a Saint is MWario for giving collectors who missed out to allow below issue prices with free shipping and to pass the taxes on to the government, or does he?
btw Balloon coin is still available at the mint for $114.95, what a Saint for asking $5 more!

8-10 years ago, sellers like that were a dime a dozen. There were many flippers that were actually making a few bucks but the herd has thinned out drastically.

Price given with "Best Offer" option.
So the seller has $5 more to manipulate with the price.
It just simple marketing technique.
To set the price $1-$2 less for $100 isn't undercut.

"To set the price $1-$2 less for $100 isn't undercut." What extraterrestrial world do you come from? Selling for One penny less than onyone else is undercutting!
The mint charges PST on top; bless MWarios heart for not charging taxes and to pay the government out of his own pocket, or does he?
