Quote: and can anybody guess who is the driving force bringing prices down? Obviously the guy you are having a beef with. Don't know why he set the price so low at $1000 for a supposed "hot" coin that sold out so rapidly. It should be at least $1500, the price set by the first ebay seller. Buyers are now looking at $1000 as the ceiling price. Reluctant to pay more than that.

So hot coin and less then 1000? Unbelievable... Btw, Westedmontoncoinandstamp started to sell the coin again via ebay...i think couple of listings. One of them was CAD 185 and I thought, it will be my chance to get it for low. But I will tell you: someone really closely the auction, cause every time I put a bid, I was immediately outbid same second (tried 3 times) Added: Did someone hear the rumor about Atlantics Colonial Pre-Confederation 4-coin set? Sounds promising. Thank you, MTS.

No need for that person to be at the computer 24/7.

@silveroid... sales over the past week have averaged 453.00......if you want one now you will be paying close to triple issue..Im pretty sure there are a lot of coins yet to be shipped so the chances of getting one for less are good ...on a personal note ...I wont be getting a new confirmation of my post office FL order until next week after the holiday....Maybe I should have kept my first coin but I was assured on 2 occasions that the post office had my order authorized. and would ship soon...ha ha .....I think most of these hot coins will just disappear for awhile...like the pysanka 2016 theres only a few for sale and they sell about once a month with a 20% higher mintage than the FL coin....the S Man 2013 gold is similar pattern with few sales averaging 2100...and a low number for sale from 1700-3,000.00..So if you want a great deal you have to be patient because sooner or later a desperate seller will offer one up for a very low price and you can score at double issue...but mostly they are are settling at triple issue or better.

This is why I don't expect to receive any. If they start to re-confirm next week I will be delightfully surprised. Canada Post is always my last choice because you never know what you're going to get.

1000.00 sale yesterday..highest yet on a presale. The seller says that RCM wont be shipping until June 4th..There are many available for under 600.00 so I'm not sure why anyone would buy for 1k but thats what ebay is telling me.....and lesser priced coins even under 500.00 are in hand coins as well so perhaps the buyer is from Timbuktu and this seller is the only one who will ship to him.

It is a "Make an Offer" coin, so it could be any amount. I doubt it is for $1000, most likely close to current market value.

@money penney...it is a 1000.00 sale.....look again at the sold items..they are divided into 2 categories..1.states best offer accepted which has a horizontal line through the figure 2. actual selling price which has no horizontal line....said item has no line through the 1000.00....or am I missing something?..Im not surprised at the 1k figure..but in the midst of lots of lower priced items it does seem kind of strange. However I know from experience that if a buyer from overseas really wants an item they may offer top price in the hope that the seller will ship to them despite the risk of shipping ..ie Italy, Spain and even China where the postal service is notoriously unreliable and tracking is even non existant. Ive refused orders to Italy and Spain and other countries for these reasons.

Great attitude, Cassidy! only if you would want to resell it immediately, in this case you missing couple of hundreds $$. Otherwise - it's ok. You will get it later, if you will want at that time.

Maybe you can pick one up on ebay for a good price. Just watch for new sellers who offer a lower "Buy it Now" price for a quick flip. By the way, if you want a flashlight I can sell you one at 1/2 price for $100 (just kidding, moderators.)
