The best part is the flashlight has a "30 day return" guarantee.
Who would spend $300 buying a flashlight and not returning it?

The flashlight with the RCM logo on it is a surprising seller ..at over 100 bucks..maybe it is the only one that will be distributed with black light effect RCM coins...if so, then maybe it is collectible and worth a premium. I would think, however, that the RCM would order at least 20,0000 of them from China to cover the immediate future needs for black light coins...that would cost them about 10,000 bucks!

@New1954....Im not seeing the reported 306.00 sale on ebay..if anything the FL coin is getting more expensive with the last week sales averaging well over 450.00. Now that all the coins should be in the hands of the buyers I think the price will eventually drop to 350.00CAD$... but I think that may will be the bottom for this coin...definitely an investment winner....and ..as far as the blacklite flashlite goes..wouldnt it be possible to just buy one direct from the RCM?

I got on the auction too late but it was the june3rd, 2018 Colonial Acres Auction. It was the second item for sale and I did not get on site until 10th item. Yes, the falcon lake sold for $308.00 and that included the hammer fee!! Lucky person.

I don't understand the flashlight frenzy... It is free with GITD subscription coins... I have 3 and I never bought into the Falcon Lake frenzy. They came with the Moonlight Series, the Aurora Series and the Parliament Fireworks coin. Based on a quick google search it looks as if the flashlight the RCM include is available on that website... Ali-something for $1.76US. Maybe another 25c to get the RCM logo attached. On ebay, right next to the $99 listing is this one... $20 for a lot of 8 that have the logo printed. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Lot-Of-8-Ro...AOSwo9VbEBmpShrug.

I feel bad for anyone who pays that much money for a flashlight for the glow in the dark effect. I have so many that came with the weather phenomenon series, the moonlight series and the Canada 150 firework coin. I am sure I have more but I have lost count.

But if the buyer, absolutely aware, that he/she obtaining the flashlight only - this shouldn't be the problem....i think. When we pay 10x times metal content price for new coin, it also kind of foolish. But this is our choice.

@cassidy77 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Lot-Of-8-Ro...AOSwo9VbEBmpIt closed yesterday... 8 sold for $21.50 +$9.99 shipping If the link doesn't work, look for "Canadian Mint Blacklight Flashlight" on ebay.ca with completed items flag set. I also saw one that closed for $99.98 but generously included free shipping. I can only imagine Auction Fever took full hold here. I am reminded of a thread a few months ago where the question posed was whether you told your significant other how much you spent on the hobby. This would be a spend that would be hard to justify in any conversation... "You spent what! for WHAT!". http://goccf.com/t/318909@Silveroid. Quote: When we pay 10x times metal content price for new coin, it also kind of foolish. But this is our choice. Yes but at least there is some underlying value that you can recover. This takes Caveat Emptor to a ridiculous extent. But I agree with your point. When you pay $350 for a Falcon Lake coin for $25 in metal value for a mass produced though limited run item, you are making a choice. It is a whole order of magnitude different when you pay $100 for something worth $2 that has no limits to the manufacturing run and will have no future value... period. PT Barnum was right.

Thanks Vonigohcr..I found the 8 flashlite sale for 21.50..that makes more sense........the 100.00 flashlite is somewhat bizarre and I personally could not in all good conscience sell a 2 buck flashlite for 100.00 but if these flashlites keep selling for 100 bucks I'm tempted to buy 8 of them and see if I can get 25.00 each..ha ha just kidding...go figure..
