I guess once he realized he just sold his 6 unit order and probably lost a packet it was time to refund and wait for the coins to arrive in a few months. Luckily I got 2 from the post office and now they are sold out. Generally I dont pay much attention to nclt anymore so I missed the RCM release by a day..now its sold out at gatewest,talisman ,the post office and ive been lucky to get 2 at release price from the P.O.....I will search a bit more but now its ebay and paying up to 200.00 to the last ebay seller from Italy! ha ha Did you buy them from the physical post office or online? |

@jarms049..i bought and paid for them yesterday from the P.O. website....today I tried but they are no longer listed so I guess I got the last ones..However I just got another one from an ebay seller from Germany..not a bad deal considering. Edited by Cassidy77

Try to go over and check your POs. Not all the people aware how popular this coin. The same was with 2016 Pysanka. And surelly better to grab it from Mario for CAD 299, rather then pay USD 299 with tax later....
Not many people were interested in Ballon coin last year, but the UFO topic is popular...all the movies and stories about it. All the Star Wars, for example, just UFOs there look differently.

Although I am not much of a collector of RCM issues, I confess that I love the subject matter! I loved the "X-files". Maybe they can make a Mulder and Scully issue. Edited by oriole

it sounds like the shipping issue for these coins is pretty confusing..I think the June 4th date that RCM posted was a latest shipping date because at the time they posted that date it was still in awaiting stock mode..So if they are shipping now then more coins will be showing up on the market like ebay pretty soon  the black lite image on that one listing from wario95coin is really the best image of the affect ..so it looks like he has got one in hand already |

Yeah, on the other forum confirmed by authorized member...shipped.
Many people got this coin for issue price, cause it was the sleeper.
I will go tomorrow to my local PO, will try to get it.
Hopefully, this created and approved by weird mistake, item will gain in price.

But honestly, the coin was sleeper, cause wasn't interesting to numismatists or coin collectors. regarding nclt coins being interesting to coin collectors and numismatists....im pretty convinced that nclt buyers are the general public and not necessarily coin collectors or numismatists..that is why the Post office sells them.... So if you are a UFO buff this Falcon Lake UFO coin will be certainly an object of interest and desire.. You may not even be interested in Star Trek or Star Wars coins but this coin will get your attention and that is why this coin is so hot. I am a UFO buff...ive been to Roswell and watched all the programs available on the subject and read the books and I am a coin collector and dealer as well so this coin is a must have to own and resell and give away..I think 2750 would buy this coin in gold but I think 400-600 will be the eventual selling value with some coins going higher...
