I am starting to see A LOT more of this coin on ebay. I think what we are seeing is NCLT collectors selling a coin they don't like to none NCLT collectors. I am starting to think this is less and less like the 2016 Pysanka which is just hard to find period. I think prices are going to start to decline.
Oh no So people getting them "in hand" and starting to push to the secondary market. Probably this is the time to sell the load, otherwise it will be (potentially) valued less...
Added: Yeah, checked ebay...as expected: people with low feedback (well, that's ok, need to start somehow), and single item to sell, entered "flipping game" and set starting price as CAD 500+ . This is "hit under the belt"
What did you think was going to happen, other than the first glass unit, nothing in the 4000 mintage range holds prices over 500 yet some people are expecting this coin to have endless value
predictable selling pattern for sure..... but I think that it will stay no lower, in most cases, than 2.5 issue price 325.00 although I could be wrong.... because the UFO themed government issued coin selection is very very rare and this Canada issue is the most credible event coin and the most sought after UFO coin on the market right now. The 4 other govt. ufo coins have very low mintage of around 500 ea. still...4000 pieces is not a high mintage figure so I doubt the price will drop below 500.00 for a while and currently there are zero coins for sale under 589 obo.....

The future sale of the 1944 Tombac 5 cents, one of 8000, 1911 dollar 1 of 3, 1921 50 cents about 70 pieces, theses are very rare coins, 4000 newly minted NCLT coins can't even remotely compared to just a few really rare Canadian coins. Even at 500 bucks this coin is very overpriced, but the market place always speaks
@john 100...very very rare is pretty accurate when it comes to quantifying the number of RCM coins which commemorate a UFO event in canada..There is only 1 ..You are confusing my analysis as to why the coin is pricey.... take your example of the 1 tombac 1944 which went for 7k plus in 1982 even if 4000 collectors were willing to pay anything for the single 1944 tombac only 1 person can own it indefinitely..... whereas if 30,0000 collectors and ufo buffs want this coin who really knows where the price will go? ........Who knows if the RCM will ever do another ufo coin?....This coin is a first major G 7 country UFO coin and given the current level of ufomania will probably remain in big demand for the foreseeable future. Its only been available on the site since april 4th and sold out within 2 days or so.For most people involved in ufology the buzz word is ...disclosure...and this coin represents government disclosure on another level. Disclosure means govt. admittance that our planet has been in contact with technologically advanced alien races. This is the main reason there is a buzz on about this Falcon Lake coin..
Cassidy, 2 days to sell out is a bit of an exaggeration. I had ordered mine on the 27th of March. So, yes, it sold out quickly, but it did take a week or more. Maybe it was only 2 days after 'official public release' It does seem to be hyped quite a lot by you, and a few others, and some hopeful sales on ebay suggest that there might be some holding power to it, but I still believe it'll be a flash in the pan, only to fade away to forgotten in a couple months. I might be wrong, but it's following a pattern. Good luck with your 'loading'.
@Dcadon....I stand corrected..i didnt see it listed on the RCM site until the 3rd..thanks to an email from Talisman....which goes to tell you how much nclt I'm involved in these past few years..does the term loading mean accumulating pieces?.... Yes ..I agree I'm promoting it for some reason.... and ive started a general UFO coin topic.however ...Im not predicting any particular outcome as there are too many variables in coin collecting. Ive already stated that I think it may eventually come back to around 325 which is based on the Superman 2013 gold pattern....It wont be forgotten any time soon by me! ha ha
