Possible Double Dies On 81 Nickel And 2001 Kentucky Quarter

Army OF Fury New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 04/07/2018 02:11 am Eyes are probably playing tricks but looks like the a and m on America(quarter) is double die. The quarter looks to be MD ( Machine Doubling) or simply lighting, and the nickel may be damage, as in a ding to the nose. It may also be Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD) considering how close the motto is to the rim. If you use the search box here for things like "MD" and " DDD", you will get a lot of hits and a lot of info to go through concerning them.
