Underneath the coin there is the Canada Post picture of the floral series stamp. My guess is he works for the Post Office in Scarborough. Not sure why someone would risk their job to make $100 flipping a coin.

What I'm wondering is how much more will collectors pay for the signature, especially when they realise that none are available to the public at issue price.

To be honest, I stopped speculating on NCLT long ago. The hot ones usually explode in price while the rest drift back towards melt value. It is looking like there will be 1000 pieces released to Canada Post and the general public. Still haven't received my Mint flyer yet.

It is not the hype that makes a coin valuable. Actually, sleeper hits like the UFO coin had no hype at all, yet climbed to astronomical heights. The reverse is sometimes the case with hyped coins. So many people buy the coins to flip they undercut each other, driving prices down. |

@MoneyPenney UFO coin was not a sleeper hit. All the Canadian news stations picked this story up and was televised and written about, along with a video of the coin. If they did the same with Captain Canuck, then I guess, it would fall into your "sleeper hit" category. Google all the stories on the RCM's Falcon coin and you will see:)))))  Edited by New1954

I just got the flyer yesterday. To be honest, I don't care about the price as much. I just think it is a really cool coin and a step in the right direction.
