Basically the only coin in circulation there is 1 quetzal (which equals about 13 US cents) , but that is also usually replaced by 1 quetzal bill. Only in a bigger supermarket I got 25 centavos in change, just for the curiosity I asked for 1 and 5 centavos and it took a while for cashier to find a 5 centavos coin.. dulitu New Member Netherlands 36 Posts	Posted 05/05/2018 09:47 am yes they do have 1 centavo, which is smaller in terms of denomination but not in terms of size. however 1 centavo is basically non-existing in circulation (since it is worth around 0,13 US cents...). Report this Post to the Staff
