Picked this up some time ago, but forgot to share it. Only other mention I could find of this variety was in a post here from swamperbob. Weight is quite low at ~21.7 grams. Patina looks very convincing.
There's an awful lot going on with that one besides the mint/assayer markings. Cap and eagle's head are both stylized in a rather simplistic way, and the date's gigantic. Appears to have circulated for quite some time anyway. Very interesting, thanks for sharing.
I like how the eagle's cactus claw looks like a claw from one of those quarter vending / game machines. One of those you try and see if you can pick up a prize without it falling off!
