Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74662 Posts	Posted 05/27/2018 7:20 pm Always look for the doubling first, then look for the die markers if you find doubling. If you don't see doubling, then it's not a Doubled Die. You have a great eye, but you're looking too hard. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

That was a huge brainfart right there! Okay, I got it right this time. I looked on varietyvista.com on 1987 P DDO-001 and it doesn't match. Your coin doesn't have the the medium spread and extra thickness on Liberty or "IGWT". Edit: I have edited my previous comment and fixed it. That is what you are missing. Unlike Wexler's site, they post the images of all areas, even if they are normal ~~Note on the die you are matching up with has a DDO on the LIBERTY area only.
