Not seeing any doubling or any die gouge where your arrow is pointing.

I agree. Looks like an over polished die with die wear.

Always look for the doubling first, then look for the die markers if you find doubling. If you don't see doubling, then it's not a Doubled Die. You have a great eye, but you're looking too hard.

thank you guys, but it's my cheap scope that is a problem, what about now: otherwise I think it's matching vista sample, again I am probably wrong again, but look at IGWT it's matching one to one.

Khasil, I already said it doesn't match. It still doesn't match. What more can I do? I'm done.

Crap, my mistake! Gheez, I don't know why I thought it was that one. That was a huge brainfart right there! Okay, I got it right this time. I looked on varietyvista.com on 1987 P DDO-001 and it doesn't match. Your coin doesn't have the the medium spread and extra thickness on Liberty or "IGWT". Edit: I have edited my previous comment and fixed it. I put the correct images in, showing the 1987 P LMC DDO-007.

Note the description on the top: Quote: Medium spread on date with extra thickness and notched lower Right corners on LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. That is what you are missing. Unlike Wexler's site, they post the images of all areas, even if they are normal Note on the die you are matching up with has a DDO on the LIBERTY area only. So the other images on the site are normal devices. Just LIBERTY is doubled.[/i]I see how you missed it. But now we know how. Hope this helps.I made the same mistake. I looked up Denver coins rather than Philly. OK. Here is the side by sides:
