I tried to see if there was any other device that was out of the ordinary to try and figure out why the 8 Looks like it does, notches, seperation, md, and found nothing so that leads me to believe that it's probably just PMD on the 8 or just like John1 said abrasion... This maybe just on isolated area or the whole coin. What happens it makes the devices thinner on the altered die area. If done several times on a certain area it alters the mid devices on a die: Report this Post to the Staff
