1960 D LMC With Only The "G" Is DD Why? Helps Please

That does not look like a DD. The G took a hit & that depressed part of the upright and made that little pointer on the crossbar.

Here is the closer look. If it got hit why the whole letter got impacted only 1 part and that was a hard part to get hit. Another explain for me to clear it out please

Well, its not a DDO, so its either damaged post mint by a hit or their was die damage like a gouge or edge break? Hard to say which.

It looks like it took a well placed hit, causing the metal to get pushed over and flattened.
