Not an expert, by any stretch of the imagination, but it looks right to me. Where did you find that beauty?

Trying to upload photos to this site I find very difficult, I believe this is a 1916 Matte Proof or Struck by proof dies, it has the die markers present but ICG said they could not see them,I re submitted the coin with photos of the die markers and they stated they could not be seen, how is it I can see them and photograph them but they are not present? Also look at the square rim and the rim finning, it's very finely stuck with very fine details as well will try and upload more photos but these show the die markers I found online that was sold by heritage authenticated by NGC

John I've seen that pic online and if you look closely you can see the same die scratches at the date as my coin plus almost all the 1916 Proofs on PCGS coin facts all have the same die markers, my question is how do I get it authenticated ICG said they could not see the die markers after I resubmitted the coin with photos of the die markers, I even explained to them that you have to look at it with a loop and twirl the luster at the right angle to see them

Why not just submit (via your LCS) to PCGS or NGC instead?

ICG ain't really the best option, NGC for type coins and PCGS by request.

NGC would be my recommendation. They are seriously tough on early proof Lincoln, so if your's has the markers, that would be a great authentication.

And it looks like a legitimate matte proof to me, too.

Looks like a matte proof. Send it to NGC or PCGS, not ICG.

ANACS is also an option for verication and authenticity. You could then cross it over to NGC or PCGS.

Picture of the rim of the coin please (edge).

Would also like to see a picture of the reverse as well.
