I went to a coin shop today and bought the following for $12.00 total. All are G/VG conditon.
Indian Head 1880 1881 1882 1883 1887 1888 1889 1890 1891 1892 1894 1895 1896 1897 1898 1900 1906
I needed these as I didn't have them yet. Not trying to complete any sets but I thought I'd get stuff I didn't have. He wanted $20 for them all but I was able to talk him down to $12. So, did I do ok or not?

Assuming most of them are not damaged, yes, a good deal!

Less than a buck apiece, I'd say good deal.

I have seen the IHC "bargain" bins at shows listed as $1/each, so I feel you did good, especially if all of them are G/VG!

Very nice deal, I agree. It is very hard to win IHC lots for under $1 apiece on ebay and they often are loaded with junk/culls. Plus the 1894 is a tougher date in any grade- tends to be missing fro bulk lots.

I was thinking of scanning my coins onto here and getting condition possibilities on them for my own knowledge. Problem is, I own 115 or so coins and think listing them seperately is quite alot of work. My question is, can I scan them and list them all under one thread in the grading part of these forums under a "grade my collection" or something to that effect? Will I be shunned or do I list them all piece by piece in their own threads? Thanks!
~Mike~
NOTE: I've had a few requests to get my coins pictured and want to quell requests and truly see what condition they are, as I'm horrible at fine grading. Thanks again.

Mike, might I suggest you try grading them yourself first. It is good experience that will serve well next time you go shopping. Look on indiancent.com and click on their grading tab on the left. I have printed each of the grade pages out to help myself. Some will be in the middle of a grade and easy to tell. Others will be on the edges of 2 grades, and those are the ones you might first start posting. It is always nice to get a group of new cents!
