Happy Father Day everyone!
Could someone help me figure out what's wrong with this quarter? As I have no clue what happen to it. PMD or some sort of lamination error? Defective planchet? I appreciate.

Thanks! E&V. It doesn't look like Struck Through Grease to me. Or maybe I'm not use to see it on quarter yet, only on copper/zinc cents LOL.

I see this in rolls of new nickels. I assume struck through water or grease:

Grease with some grit in it. Thus the rough texture.

I search the forums and saw Shellioness1 posted this before. Do you guy think both of us quarter struck with the same die?

Probably is. But if you could find a couple of die scratches that are on both, then you can confirm it. Were they both from the same OBW rolls? If so the chances are even greater. Some mark must be on both coins in the same location. But I'm thinking they were from the same die pair.

Thanks Coop. I will try to check on the Shellioness1 post for die marker and compare to mine to see if it match. And by the way I didn't find it from OBW roll. I found it in change.
