perhaps to soon, but from Belgium, just before going to sleep: 1/2 lari = kuda AH1238/1822AD 1,3gr - 10,6mm coin shows "Mu'in" below "Muhammad". dot belongs to b of "al-barayn", so it is AH1238 It is a common occurrence with these coins dated AH 1238 and the earlier AH 1230 coins that the date is often completely off-coin. Even when the date is only partially off-coin the last digit can easily be misread. The method of determining the correct date is to study the obverse legend layout. With AH 1230 coins the word "Mu'in" is on the same line as the word for "Muhammad". However, for AH 1238 coins "Mu'in" is invariably below "Muhammad". In this particular coin the obverse quite clearly shows "Mu'in" below "Muhammad".
