My example had apparently either darkened considerably since the photos were taken (in July 2017), or I was really lucky with lighting (probably on a sunny day); in any case, those blurry photos are the best I have. If real, though, this is by far the rarest coin type in my collection... Elbing, Swedish occupation of, solidus, 1657. Obverse: CAROL GVST D G R, crowned CG monogram within inner circle Reverse: SOLIDVS PRVSSIAE 57, arms of Elbing in cartouche within inner circle KM# 65 (listed as "rare"), Numista 96629 (rarity 97 - I'm the only member who has it), Kopicki 9655 (R7, estimated 4-6 examples known). ...It was hilarious how I picked this coin up. I went through the bin, this coin caught my eye, I looked at the legends - "Carl Gustav of Prussia? Hey, wait, that can't be right..." So I bought it (for $7 or so, as I recall) as an interesting puzzle to figure out, entirely unaware of the rarity. Fun fact: having apparently made a typo in the legend when originally sharing those photos in September 2017, I kept faithfully copying that typo over and over again. I see no glaring problems when compared to the auction example, but I invite others to take a look, as I am no expert on such things. Nice coin!
