Poland 1658 silver solidus/schilling, city of Gdansk (a far cry from those beautiful ecus). Minted the year before the royal mints in Poland started pumping out those copper schillings we've seen for the last week.

Error in Dates - Contemporary counterfeit coins
Contemporary counterfeit in this case, means made for circulation by a bunch of 17th century Suceava crooks (a really big bunch that wanted to destabilize the Livonian economy).
It's still from the 17th century, <b>(error in date) </b> and if anything it's more valuable due to the error.
The Suceava mint workers usually weren't that sloppy in making coins and tend to have dates (year) around the actual date(1654-60) when these coins were minted. Example of the year of mint: (16)12 or (16)14.
In addition the more coppery examples of this type, such as the image below is almost certain to originate from there.
(Contemporary counterfeits are very collectable - and contemporary counterfeits with obvious errors are probably even more so collectables)
