I knew this was a pretty coin but holy moly! Scored top pop at PF-69. Bought this off a dealer for a reasonable $40. 1964 Kennedy half dollar proof accented hair (fS-401) quadruple die reverse (FS-802)

Hi E&V, I am soggy, wet and damp as rains every day here in the Monongahela National (rain) Forest and I have been staying in tent for this project. But this is my thing so no worries. Catching bats and the occasional stray owl at night.
Tomorrow is my big coin hunting day as I am going to Elkins, WV to scour any coin shops I can find and pick up a couple bricks of cents from whatever bank will sell them to me. Won't be able to have a look at things until I get home but will be fun to see what I can find from here.

I figured that $40 for an ungraded accented hair in a 2x2 flip was a fair price. Dealer had a dozen of them and let me pick out four of them for $160. So I ended up with two nice but normal ones and two of these FS-802 varieties. The other graded PF-68 so it's no slouch either.

Junglebats...when are you gonna get a life? Your killing me with your cherry picks. Yes I am jealous and yes I'm a bad example for everyone. Sell me the 66 DDO's in ANAC holders. Ha, I need help. Good to see ya back on the wavelength here. I hit a dry spell after the 1984 D F'S-101 six bricks and only a small Cud an Indian Head, and a 1958 D RPM hmmmm. Enjoy while you can, I'm a Vegas slot cooler and your due a cooling . ok ok kidding. E mail me when your back and will get that one to ya.
