I find so many 2000 and 1998 cents I get tired of turning them over to check them but I think I finally found one. This was in a customer wrapped roll that had a two wheats in it too. The 2000 is the most common of the AM varieties, correct? Still cool to find. Hope the pics are clear enough, had a heck of a time trying to take them.

Also trying out my scuffed digital microscope that I have to restart my computer twice to get to work for some reason. I really wish it could fit a whole cent in frame.

I think this is split plate doubling if I remember right.

Set your scope to it's lowest power and then put it on top of a book,if needed add books to reach the proper height.

Don't know if the 2000 WAM is the most common. I have found more 1998 WAM's than 2000 WAM's.

2000's seem the most agreed upon common one, followed by 1998, then the rarity, 1999.

That is a good quality coin, but I did see some split plating issues forming. Use acetone to remove the organic materials then seal it well, the next 5 years will tell if it will remain for any more...

Thanks everyone, haven't had a neat find for a little while so this was encouraging.

I got a really cheap one and it seems to be trash. 20x is it's lowest setting, I probably should've gone lower. This is about as far out I can zoom before it starts to blur too much. It'll do for close ups but not full coin.

I asked in order to have a complete example that Coop may be able
to use for building a multi-pix for educational purposes..

Well, I shouldn't presume to speak for anyone other than myself.. I happen to think this a very nice example of a circulated 2000 WAM, and the location & serif of the designer's initials happen to be one of the two best ways of correctly confirming the find -- the other being the proximity of the "A" in "STATES," which can be enlarged easily enough from the reverse photo already present.. The photo of the initials makes for a complete study packet.. Also, if Coop were to use them for something all photos are properly attributed..
