I don't think anyone is debating that. The question is why and how these coins are turning goldish in colour so quickly? And consistently? I've held several coins at Canada post locations with the same toning that are no where near old enough to have such a drastic change in colour under normal circumstances. Normal is the key word. Abnormal conditions caused this, or more sets would show the same, but what were they? Any chemists out there have an opinion? Just off the cuff, what about different types of lighting? Incandescent, fluorescent, LED, halogen, metal halides, neon, etc... or even a combo of 2 or more. .
