You should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

That grade was assigned, since there's a lot of dings, scratches, and other issues.

Awful coin. But I think the OP knows that. ED that will probably only get worse with time. I doubt anyone would pay melt for it.

Especially if the 1386.60 refers to the price.

It's in a Littleton bag. The current price on their site is $42.50. I sincerely hope you did not pay that.

I like this quote taken from the Littleton website, "Littleton's veteran buyers have developed great expertise in purchasing and grading Uncirculated U.S. coins."

What!? That's just too funny! Littleton was not specific enough to explain why they developed great expertise.

I have never returned a coin before, but if I got this one I would. From the look of those spots I would be afraid to keep this anywhere near my collection.

Looks like a 60 to me. If a coin has no wear it's MS and lowest MS grade is 60 The damage keeps it from any higher grade. You might call it a Details 60 but it is still a 60.

I couldn't agree more. This doesn't even belong in a dealers junk box. Even TPG graded this is a fairly low value coin.

Here's an NGC MS-63 for $16 bucks with free shipping, and that's not much of bargain either.
