That grade was assigned, since there's a lot of dings, scratches, and other issues.

Awful coin. But I think the OP knows that. ED that will probably only get worse with time. I doubt anyone would pay melt for it.

I have never returned a coin before, but if I got this one I would. From the look of those spots I would be afraid to keep this anywhere near my collection.

This doesn't even belong in a dealers junk box. Even TPG graded this is a fairly low value coin.
