Hello all,
Thanks for the feedback on a previous coin. I wanted to share what seems to be my first dd on obverse and reverse. Please feel free to share your thoughts etc. Just a quick intro on my end. I had surgery recently and I'm stuck to crunches due to surgery on one ankle and back issues. After watching a Stephen king movie and a character collecting coins specifically mentioning a 1955 dd. Well lets just say I got hooked and started going through our coins. Thanks in advance to any input.

I see doubling or wear on obverse 1987 D, Liberty, God we trust

on Reverse One cent, united states of america

Have a great day.

I think you have just a normal coin. I don't see any doubling. What you are seeing is just Die Deterioration Doubling, meaning the die is just getting worn out. On the back the O in ONE it looks like it took a hit from another coin on the side. For future reference, when you post a coin, try to include a description of what you're seeing and where, for instance "the letters in God we trust look doubled or I see doubling on the reverse in America. Something specific so we know where to look. What you see in hand and what translates in pics don't always match up. Your pics are pretty good though which is a start. Good luck and welcome.

Above the USA near the rim, that area is showing split plating.

It's Split Plate Doubling, caused by the Copper plating breaking. http://www.error-ref.com/split-plate-doubling/
